Comcast IP Holdings I LLC v. Sprint Communications Co. LP et al.
After a week-long trial, a jury in the US District Court for the District of Delaware found in favor of Analysis Group client Comcast IP Holdings I LLC in its patent infringement suit against Sprint Communications Co. LP, Sprint Spectrum LP, and Nextel Operations Inc. Comcast alleged that the defendants had infringed three Comcast patents used in Sprint's provision of its Sprint Mobile Integration, Google Voice on Sprint, and Airave 2 small cell services. The jury found that all three Comcast patents had been infringed and awarded $7.5 million in damages.
An Analysis Group team, led by Managing Principal Carla Mulhern and Principal Robert Vigil, was retained by counsel on behalf of Comcast to assess damages related to the patents at issue in the suit. Ms. Mulhern submitted expert reports regarding reasonable royalty damages due to Comcast and provided testimony at both deposition and trial.
