EMC Corp. v. Karwowska

The defendant, an employee of Data General Corporation when it was acquired by EMC, was accused of violating her employment agreement by soliciting colleagues to leave EMC and join her at a competitor. The company alleged that in order to retain these employees, it was forced to expend additional funds for company stock and salaries.

Analysis Group President Pierre Cremieux testified regarding the alleged increase in salaries and number of shares at EMC following the defendant's departure from EMC. Analysis Group also provided deposition testimony regarding the value of the shares. The case was dismissed with prejudice prior to trial.
