Rogers v. United States

Analysis Group was retained by the US Department of Justice Tax Division to assist the government in defending against a lawsuit by the estate of the former owners of the Kansas City Royals baseball team. Managing Principal Richard M. Starfield led an Analysis Group team that supported experts in sports economics, federal income taxation, auction theory, and accounting in their preparation of reports and testimony for the court. Mr. Starfield also filed an expert report and was deposed in the matter. Our client, the US government, won the case on summary judgment.
