- What has kept you at AG throughout the years?
- The reasons that led me to choose AG in the first place: I wanted to be continuously learning, to be intellectually challenged, and to solve real-life business issues using economic principles. Over time, I have been fortunate to consistently do just that!
- How has AG supported you throughout your career?
- AG has supported me in several ways that have propelled me to continuous new personal and professional heights.
I have worked on a variety of cases in different practice areas. including Antitrust & Competition, Commercial Disputes, Intellectual Property, and Securities, Financial Products & Institutions. And I have delighted in developing creative but principled solutions to solve complex business issues.
I have also worked with many experts. The experience is highly rewarding as you get to learn, interact, and support world-renowned industry and academic experts on current economic issues across many industries.
On case teams, I get to collaborate with extremely smart individuals. Such collaboration at AG is fostered by treating others as you’d like to be treated, regardless of rank or position. New hires are exposed to valuable experience early on, and clients can be assured that the best people with the right expertise and experience across the firm are working on their cases. - What advice would you give to new staff joining AG?
- I always advise new hires to ask questions, embrace new challenges, and be pragmatic. Intellect, adaptability, and communication skills are highly important at AG, so practice and demonstrate these skills anytime you can.
- What do you do when you’re not working?
- I spend time with my family, serve on business and community initiatives such as board membership and philanthropy, and enjoy being a lifelong learner through reading, writing, and traveling.
- How do you find a suitable work/life balance?
- I strive to keep an open communication channel with my teams regarding availability, to plan tasks and workdays ahead of time if possible, and to remain flexible about changes.
