- Why did you choose AG?
- AG aligned with my post-graduation interests and aspirations. During my studies, I had developed a keen interest in using data to tackle complex economic problems. I was also attracted by AG’s strong connection with the academic world, as it signifies a commitment to excellence and a thirst for innovation.
- What do you work on at AG?
- At AG I have had the chance to work on mergers and litigation issues in the food, retail, and manufacturing industries. I combine economic reasoning with data-based methods, like data analysis and modeling, to provide arguments in favor of our clients.
- What do you enjoy most about your work?
- I enjoy the opportunity to dive deep into complex problems and to craft robust solutions. There’s a real sense of satisfaction in tackling challenging economic issues and finding innovative ways to address them. It’s intellectually stimulating and keeps me engaged and motivated. Additionally, I find immense gratification in collaborating with smart and resourceful colleagues. However, what makes this work truly exciting is the knowledge that the solutions we propose will be rigorously challenged by the opposite party or competition authorities, obliging us to provide only excellent results.
- What new experiences have you had at AG?
- I have interacted with clients to precisely understand their needs and the data they can share with us, held leadership roles on case teams, and participated in pro bono cases. And of course, I’ve gone on AG’s amazing yearly trips, which have included activities such as wine tasting and riding in a speedboat.
- What is it like to work on a case team?
- Working on a case team at AG means writing clean code, defending ideas from other team members with strong arguments, and collaborating to merge diverse perspectives into the final solution.
- What is it like to work in your office? What is the culture there?
- Working in our office is a dynamic experience due to our international environment. We have colleagues from diverse backgrounds that speak multiple languages. Despite our global reach, the office is relatively small, which allows everyone – including managers - to build close relationships.
- What do you think about AG’s collaborative culture? How does this benefit your work? Clients?
- AG’s culture fosters an environment where ideas flow freely and knowledge is shared openly. It encourages cross-functional collaboration, allowing me to tap into the expertise of colleagues from different teams and backgrounds. This broadens my own knowledge base and enhances the quality of my work. When it comes to serving our clients, this approach is a significant advantage. It means that we bring a wealth of diverse perspectives to the table when addressing our clients’ complex challenges.
- What do you do when you’re not working?
- I enjoy traveling the world, exploring Paris’ vibrant restaurant scene, and spending time with friends on the banks of the Seine.
- How do you find a suitable work/life balance?
- When work slows down, I make sure to leave earlier to ensure I have ample time for personal pursuits and relaxation. When work intensifies, I communicate effectively with my managers to manage workload and expectations.
