- Why did you choose Analysis Group?
- Working somewhere that is open to change and new direction was very important to me, and I could tell AG was the right place from my interview. The culture was a big deciding factor for me as well. When I walked into the café area in Boston and saw the sports trophies, I could tell right away that people were close and liked to organize events outside of work.
- What do you enjoy most about your work? What do you find most challenging?
- I never know what the next day will be like, which makes my job both interesting and challenging. Today, there could be a big audiovisual (AV) issue I need to resolve right away in our multipurpose room – or I could be supporting a meeting in the Paris office. I always need to think on the spot and outside of the box, which really builds my problem-solving skills.
- What was your career path to Analysis Group?
- I started behind the camera as a videographer and editor in health care, and had the opportunity to learn AV. I went on to work in finance as an AV technician, and became the executive support technician. Five years of that led me to AG, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
- What types of projects do you work on?
- I support the AV equipment in all of our offices, as well as new office expansions or buildouts. I travel to each location to assist in commissioning equipment and training the staff on proper use. Since we’ve been working from home [during the pandemic], I’ve been helping with rolling out Zoom for the whole company, and managing and supporting all of our web conference platforms.
- What do you think about Analysis Group’s collaborative culture?
- It is easily the most engaging and well-developed culture I have experienced. Within my team, everyone is approachable and always up for a quick discussion to bounce ideas off of each other. The Boston office has plenty of conference rooms and open spaces for people to have quick chats or meetings. There are also lots of lounge areas to take a break, because everyone works very hard. But there’s always something fun to look forward to, where you can meet colleagues outside of your normal working group.
