Dr. Lako is a financial economist with expertise in applying economic analysis and theory to complex litigation matters. He has supported leading academic and industry experts in matters related to private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), derivatives, reputational damages, and bankruptcy. Dr. Lako has assisted clients and supported experts in all phases of litigation, including discovery, expert reports, testimony and deposition, mediation, and trial preparation. His academic research has been published in Real Estate Economics and presented before central banks and leading business schools and conferences. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. Lako held instructor, research, and teaching assistant positions at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and worked for Freddie Mac.
