Summary of Experience

Dr. Kponee-Shovein is an epidemiologist with analytical experience in causal inference methods, outcomes research, drug safety, health economics, and health care litigation. She has a wide range of experience with various types of health care data, including insurance claims, electronic medical records, chart review, clinical trials, and survey data. She has also provided regulatory and strategic consulting on drug registration and real-world evidence generation for US Food and Drug Administration new drug application (NDA), supplemental new drug application (sNDA), and orphan drug designation (ODD) submissions. Dr. Kponee-Shovein has developed and led research projects in resource-poor settings. She has also presented abstracts at conferences on epidemiology and environmental health sciences, and coauthored articles in peer-reviewed journals such as JAMA Internal Medicine and the American Journal of Epidemiology. Dr. Kponee-Shovein is an adjunct lecturer in the epidemiology department at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
