Summary of Experience
Mr. Spare specializes in complex financial reporting issues and the application of accounting concepts to questions arising in securities, finance, tax, and general business litigation. His casework includes matters involving complicated areas of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), financial statement analysis and disclosures, damages estimations, mergers and acquisitions, commercial disputes, and valuation. Mr. Spare’s work spans multiple industries, such as health care, financial services, telecommunications, technology, consumer products, and real estate. He has worked closely with attorneys, academic and industry experts, and clients in many phases of the litigation process, including case strategy, discovery, expert reports, deposition, and trial. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Mr. Spare was a postgraduate technical assistant at the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
