Summary of Experience
Dr. Hugill specializes in the application of economic theory and practical experience to questions arising in litigation, negotiations, and business strategy. Her litigation and advisory experience includes analyses of intellectual property damages, breach of contract matters, antitrust disputes, tax issues, international trade matters, marketing disputes, valuations, and corporate governance investigations. Dr. Hugill has supported a wide variety of academic, industry, and government experts, both internal and external to Analysis Group. Her academic research covers supply chains and codes of conduct, managerial rents and resources, corporate governance in emerging economies, and long-term investments. She has published several papers, including one on the International Trade Commission’s enforcement penalties. Prior to joining Analysis Group, she was a professor at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, where she continues to teach on occasion. She has also led research engagements with the World Bank; worked in General Electric’s International Law and Policy Office; built a business strategy for a risk management company in Dubai; and served as a specialist in insurance collusion investigations, litigation matters, and policy at the law firm of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae.
