Summary of Experience

Dr. VanSant specializes in the application of economic analysis to complex litigation matters in the areas of health care, antitrust, and intellectual property (IP). Her litigation experience has included antitrust claims against an aligner and intraoral scanner manufacturer involving allegations of monopolization and anticompetitive agreements, antitrust claims against brand and generic drug manufacturers involving allegations of reverse payment settlements, pricing of generic pharmaceuticals, and IP disputes involving biologic and biosimilar pharmaceutical manufacturers. In her litigation work, Dr. VanSant has analyzed large datasets in order to estimate overcharges, ill-gotten gains, pass-through, and damages. She has assisted attorneys and academic affiliates in all phases of complex litigation, including pretrial discovery, case strategy, expert reports, deposition support, and trial preparation. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. VanSant worked at an economic consulting firm.
