Dr. Kiebzak specializes in applying microeconomics, econometrics, and statistical methods to complex matters arising in litigation and strategy. He draws on his background solving technical problems in the oil industry to find creative solutions to address the needs of clients across a range of industries. Dr. Kiebzak has extensive experience with both affirmative and rebuttal analyses. He has supported clients in data production; supported expert witnesses in their preparation of reports and testimony; and supported counsel in preparation for depositions and at depositions of opposing experts. Dr. Kiebzak has also analyzed data to determine the economic impact of government policy, which has been used by technology companies to lobby policymakers.
Dr. Kiebzak’s litigation experience includes analyses of residential mortgage-backed securities, manipulation of commodity prices on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, economic damages associated with environmental disasters, and the impact of media company mergers. His non-litigation work has involved the impact of patent litigation on innovation, including the publication of an article in Research Policy. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. Kiebzak spent seven years as a process engineer and process control engineer at one of the largest oil refineries in the world.
