Analysis Group Pro Bono Team Presents on Community Wastewater Monitoring Project at Chelsea Research Festival

At the third annual Chelsea Research Festival, an Analysis Group pro bono team presented a poster on an interactive dashboard that provides the citizens of Chelsea, MA, with information about the status of COVID-19, influenza, and RSV, based on wastewater viral levels. The annual festival highlights Chelsea residents’ contributions to science and bridges the gap between community and research, showcasing work that is either about Chelsea or conducted by Chelsea community members.
The dashboard was created as part of a pro bono collaboration between Analysis Group, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Chelsea Project, which is an endeavor developed by the Center for Complex Interventions to create a long-term, self-sustaining, and resilient public health system. The pro bono project was established to deploy a community-led response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Analysis Group team members include Managing Principal Stephen Fink, Managers Sean McCoy and Timothy J. Spittle, Senior Research Professionals Lilian Diaz and Sam Schwartzbein, and Research Professional Eugene Baraka.
