Second Annual Black@AG Summit Hosted by Analysis Group

Black@AG is a community of Black employees and allies at Analysis Group focused on fostering an inclusive workplace, promoting awareness of issues surrounding the Black identity, and providing support for the professional development of Black employees. Coinciding with the 2023 commemoration of Juneteenth, the firm’s second annual Black@AG summit, a two-day event that took place in Boston, brought our Black colleagues together for networking, professional development, community building, and social events.

The summit included a variety of sessions aimed at exploring the themes of Black joy, well-being, and connection. Presenters included Michelle Silverthorn, Founder and CEO of Inclusion Nation, and Dr. Dwayne Banks, an Analysis Group board member, Vice Provost at San Francisco State University, and Founder and CEO of Health and Social Sector Analysis. The summit also included remarks and discussions led by panelists including Analysis Group President Pierre Cremieux; Chief Administrative Officer Coreen McCool; Managing Principals Andrea Okie and Mike Holland; General Counsel Sueyoung Min; Vice Presidents Anne Catherine Faye, Atang Gilika, and Laura Acosta; Manager Kalé Kponee-Shovein; and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Manager Khalilah Jones. Panelists explored topics of mentorship and sponsorship, shared tips for success in both consulting and administrative roles, and discussed ongoing and upcoming DE&I initiatives at Analysis Group.

The firm is grateful to the current and former leaders of Black@AG who developed the idea for the summit, and for the support of Analysis Group’s DE&I team, which assisted in developing and executing the summit.
