Vice President Marissa Ginn Joins Panel on Gender and Competition at APEC’s Competition Policy and Law Group Plenary Meeting

Vice President Marissa Ginn spoke alongside other antitrust practitioners on the “Exploring the Link Between Gender and Competition” panel at the Competition Policy and Law Group Plenary Meeting, which was hosted by Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Lima, Peru. She discussed the impact of gender on analyses of market definition and competitive effects, referencing her research published in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD’s) Gender Inclusive Competition Toolkit and in Antitrust Report. Dr. Ginn was joined by moderator Ellen Creighton (Competition Bureau Canada) and co-panelists Marie-Hélène Brière (Competition Bureau Canada), Kirsten Dela Cruz (Philippine Competition Commission), Karina Flores (Mexican Competition Commission, COFECE), and Lynn Robertson (OECD).
