Summary of Experience
Mr. Moore has over 30 years of experience in private equity, investment management, and corporate law. He has filed expert reports and testified in a number of private equity–related matters. Mr. Moore currently serves as Lecturer in Management at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a fellow at the Stanford Rock Center for Corporate Governance. He previously served as a managing director at Stanford Management Company, where he oversaw private equity investing for Stanford University’s $42 billion endowment. Prior to his position at Stanford, he was a managing partner at Trilantic Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, where he was a partner from the firm’s inception and a member of its investment committee. Earlier in his career, Mr. Moore served as a managing director at The Carlyle Group and at Lehman Brothers, where he made private equity investments. Before beginning his investing career, he worked as a management consultant and practiced law at Williams & Connolly. Mr. Moore serves on the boards of directors of SRAM Holdings and TechnoServe, and on the board of visitors of Stanford Law School. He is a former law clerk to US Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer and Judge David S. Tatel of the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
