Dr. Cheng is an economist specializing in the application of microeconomics, econometrics, and statistics to the analysis of complex legal and business disputes. She has conducted economic and quantitative analyses in matters related to antitrust and competition, intellectual property (IP), labor and employment, media and entertainment, and data analytics. Dr. Cheng has supported experts and clients in all phases of litigation, including discovery, expert reports, deposition, mediation, and live testimony. She has analyzed a wide range of industries, including building materials, consumer goods, higher education, media corporations, and natural resources. Dr. Cheng’s peer-reviewed research has been published in PLOS ONE, and she has been a referee for multiple economics journals. She is also an active member of the American Bar Association (ABA) Antitrust Law Section and is currently vice chair of the ABA Antitrust Law Spring Meeting. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. Cheng was a principal consultant at an economics consultancy.
