Dr. Karagodsky is an economist who specializes in the application of microeconomics, econometrics, and statistical methods to complex litigation matters. He has submitted an expert report in a commercial dispute involving restraints to competition and has supported experts in matters related to class certification, liability, commercial disputes, and damages analysis across a range of industries, including finance, health care, and biotech.
Dr. Karagodsky’s work has included analysis of alleged restraints to competition, damages, and liability issues in matters pertaining to market entry of branded and generic drugs, competition between medical service providers, patent infringements, pharmaceutical marketing and sales practices, and data breaches. In these cases, he assisted experts with drafting reports, preparing for deposition and trial, and constructing econometric models to estimate the impact of restraints to competition on pricing trends, firm profitability, and lost revenue.
Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. Karagodsky was a consultant at an economic consulting firm, as well as a lecturer in statistics at Boston College. He also served as a publication referee for the Journal of Banking and Finance.
