Analysis Group draws on the extensive expertise of its consultants and affiliates to provide expert analysis and testimony in matters involving sales practices and policy performance issues. In many of these cases, our work has involved the use of electronic data on policy values and policy performance and statistical samples of data contained in paper or imaged documents.
We have experience in matters in which:
- Life insurance premium levels, death benefits, and cash values did not perform as anticipated at the time of the sale
- Life insurance policies used to support retirement income targets were not achieved as anticipated
- Investment returns or loss targets on certain types of insurance policies were not achieved
- The frequency of premium overcharges by insurers was at issue
- Rate-setting analysis for title insurance was involved
- Insurance-related investment products, including variable annuities, stable value funds, and retained asset accounts, were involved
