Summary of Experience
Mr. Calzaretta is an economist with extensive experience consulting on antitrust litigation matters, regulatory investigations, and international arbitrations. His work in these matters has involved class certification, damages calculations, M&A, and predatory conduct, and he has supported academic experts in all phases of the litigation process. He has coauthored reports and engaged with regulators in proceedings before the US Department of Transportation, US Department of Justice, UK Competition and Markets Authority, and Canadian Competition Bureau. Mr. Calzaretta has conducted economic analysis in a variety of industries, including casino gaming, consumer products, energy, telecommunications, and transportation. His data analysis expertise – which includes the application of programmatic data mining, geographic information systems (GIS), econometrics, and machine learning to complex economic problems – has enabled him to manage large-scale data processes and support clients in meeting regulators’ and courts’ demands for information. Prior to joining Analysis Group, he was a senior economist at a global consulting firm.
